How to use style video captions
- Choose a video or audio recording to prepare the local editor.
- Import an SRT file or add captions, edit their text and timing, and choose a style, font, color and position.
- Preview your captions, then export the recording or download SRT, VTT, TXT or a Latin-text PDF.
Before you start
Automatic transcription and AI suggestions are Pro features. Manual captions and SRT imports display as complete lines; word animation needs detected word timings. Imports accept up to 100 KB and 500 captions. Burned captions become part of the picture. Video exports use H.264 MP4, up to 1280 pixels wide; audio recordings export WAV. Files stay on your device. Editing sessions are not saved.
One recording up to 512 MB and 2 hours on desktop, or 192 MB and 1 hour on mobile. Short recordings work best; browser memory may impose lower limits. Editing prepares automatically after selection. Files and captions stay on your device; no account or payment is required. Read the privacy policy.
