Should I compress, resize or convert my image?
Compress image adjusts JPG quality to reduce file size. Resize image changes pixel dimensions. Convert image changes the format between JPG, PNG and WebP. Crop image removes the edges using a centered aspect ratio. Choose PNG or WebP output when transparency matters.
Will compressed images keep their transparent background?
Compress image exports JPG files, replacing transparent areas with white. Use Convert image and choose PNG or WebP to preserve transparency. Already optimized images may not become smaller when compressed again.
Can I convert HEIC or remove a photo background?
The image tools support JPG, PNG and WebP rather than HEIC or SVG. Background color fills pixels that are already transparent; it does not detect or remove an existing photo background.
Can I process several images together?
Yes. Select a batch up to 150 MB in total and apply the same settings to the selected images. Multiple output images download in a ZIP file. Output canvases, including collages, are limited to 40 megapixels; browser memory may impose a lower practical limit.
